This is a late 1800s ROSEWOOD "Aeolian" manufactured "pianola". It's in good
condition but needs the bellows redone. There are 2 rolls with it. These were
used to play pianos by those who could not. As the images demonstrate, this
unit was rolled up to the keyboard, fastened to the piano, and then the person
would PUMP the peddles on the underside of the device which would operate the
keys to play songs that were controlled by the paper rolls. Fully restored,
this would be a very stunning piece. Its measurements are: 38" tall, 44" wide,
and 17" deep, it plays 65 notes (or keys), and is on its original wheels.
We're also listing a bunch of great billiard items including billiard
trophies, and several, mostly pre-1900 cue racks.
